The Derby Conference Centre was originally the British Rail Training College building, built in the 1930s. This art deco grade II listed building has been brought into the 21 century yet still retains its Art Deco character and heart. There are 26 conference rooms that can be booked to accommodate up to 400 guests, 120 seat lecture theatre, 2 self-contained conference suites and a lounge of which the centre is justifiable proud! But it is so much more than just a conference venue, it offers 50 4 star bedrooms in which you can accommodate your delegates.
When Derby County Football Club moved from their original home at the Baseball ground to Pride Park, they had the vision to develop the ground with a view to the future and to create a venue that the city could be proud of. With a variety of suites to choose from for your conference or meeting, plus copious on site parking, this is a venue worth considering. There are good hotels nearby for the delegates.
But whichever conference venue you choose, be sure to organise one of our conference icebreaker or energiser Derby treasure hunts. These enable your delegates to relax, have fun, have a bit of competition and get to know each other.
